Sean is the founder and Executive Director of Premier Soccer Development Academy. He is responsible for the design, development, and strategic implementation of PSD Academy’s operation and illustrious Player Curriculum and Player Developmental Model. With an extensive playing and coaching career, Sean brings an inherit ability to establish and cultivate sustainable development and progression amongst players, coaches, teams, and organizations that he has been affiliated with.
Sean has played in multiple state, regional, and national championships during his club, high school, and collegiate career. He played for various renowned soccer club organizations and finished his tenure with the nationally-recognized organization, Continental FC (formerly known as FC Delco). Sean was heavily involved in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in Pennsylvania and was selected and played for state, regional, and national pools and teams. Highly recruited, Sean played for and graduated from Saint Bonaventure University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and concentration in Business
Administration. Sean earned various rookie, conference, and collegiate honors while playing for the Division One program. Upon graduation, he was offered opportunities to play professionally for both domestic and international leagues and organizations however, Sean chose to pursue his professional career in public and corporate tax and accounting.
Sean continued his love and devotion to the sport by giving back to the game through instruction and coaching. Sean has been influenced and tutored by some of the most accomplished domestic and international managers within the game, which he carries forward with the integration of his work ethic and analytical approach. As a national USSF licensed professional, certified speed and agility trainer, program design specialist, sports nutrition specialist, and two-time Colorado Coach-of-the-Year nominee, Sean has coached in state, regional, and national championships, which is a testament to his sense and execution of organization, communication, and development. His coaching and training resume includes youth athletes who have or currently play in MLSNext Pro, MLS Next, Elite Club National League (ECNL), National Premier League (NPL), Development Player League (DPL), the United States Youth National Team(s) (USYNT U-15, U-16, U-18, U-20, and U-23) for both girls and boys, collegiate athletes who have or currently participate across all levels (Division I, II, III, NAIA and Junior College), and professional athletes who have or currently participate in the United States Women’s National Team, Major League Soccer (MLS), the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), the United Soccer League (USL League One & Two), and the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL).
Sean’s extensive knowledge and acumen coupled with his passion for development and ability to lead will consistently position Premier Soccer Development Academy to provide quality programming in an enjoyable environment, which will ultimately make PSD Academy the absolute service of choice for the youth, collegiate and professional player.
Sean also holds the position of Director and Varsity Head Coach of the Rock Canyon Girls Soccer Program in Highlands Ranch, CO as well as the founder and Technical Director of PSD Rush Soccer Club, a youth soccer organization, in Castle Rock/Englewood, CO. Sean currently resides with his wife, Kelli, and daughter, Harper, in Centennial, CO.
